Cookstown town Centre Improvement Scheme -

FP McCann thanked the Chamber for all its support during the scheme and reported that all will be finished Tuesday 20th of September

This will include the parking bays being marked out.

The road markings in the town will change to a 4.2 m inside lane and a 3.M right lane for traffic going through the town. This will make it easier for traffic to turn into the car parking spaces.  It was felt better signage should now be in place to advise Customers to use the left hand bay while parking - Paul.

Major investment in now need in the town to remarket Cookstown as the town to visit.  This would include radio, leaflets etc and also target the border counties. The council now needs to step up and deliver on the promise they made when starting this scheme. Paul
